Program Participation
You must have enrolled a Chase debit card and you must have designated a
school on or before February 21, 2009 to participate in the WaMoola for Schools
program.
Eligible Schools
Any school that meets the following criteria is eligible to receive
WaMoola for Schools
donations: K-12 public and private schools located in the United States that have
a 501(c)(3) or 509(a)(1) tax-exempt status and that is open on the day points are
earned and when the donation check is issued.
Points
One point is awarded for each purchase with your Chase debit card. Points
are not awarded for ATM transactions. Point value is at the discretion of Chase.
Any change to the value of a point is retroactive within a current calendar year.
The overall donation to the school you designate will depend on how many cardholders
chose that school and how many times they used their card for purchases.
Minimum Donation
A participating school must earn points totaling $50 or more between January 1, 2009
and April 30, 2010 in order to receive an individual donation. Schools that earn less
than $50 will have their donations allocated to organizations supporting education.
Those organizations will be identified according to Chase’s then-current Global
Philanthropy guidelines.
Donation Checks
During the second calendar quarter of 2010, we will mail or deliver donation checks to
schools that have earned $50 or more during 2009 through April 30, 2010. All checks will
be made payable directly to the school. Stop payments will be issued on donation checks
that are not cashed within six months of their original issuance and the funds reallocated
to organizations supporting education. Those organizations will be identified according to
Chase’s then-current guidelines.
Program Term
The WaMoola for Schools program will end on April 30, 2010.
Changes
We may add to, delete or change any rule, term, practice and/or condition of the WaMoola
for Schools program or terminate the program at our discretion from time to time without
prior notice. Such additions, deletions and changes will be announced at the
www.wamoolaforschools.com Web site.
